Artemis Medicare Services Limited (“Artemis” / “Company”) was established in 2007 (https://www.artemishospitals.com/). Currently it operates 710+ beds in National Capital Region (NCR) region of Delhi and the physical footprint of its operations comprise of: 540+ bed flagship, multi-specialty hospital (“flagship hospital”) in Gurugram (Gurgaon) near Delhi.Two asset light, neighbourhood secondary care centres (in Delhi and Gurugram) with a total capacity of 70+ beds. These are operated under the brand name ‘Artemis Lite’(https://www.artemislitehospitals.com/).Three Mother and childcare focused secondary care centres in North India (Gurugram, Delhi and Jaipur) with a total bed capacity of 100+ beds. These centres operate under the brand name ‘Artemis Daffodils’ (https://www.artemisdaffodils.com/).Eight cardiac care clinics operating on a “shop-in-shop” model across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities within India under the brand name ‘Artemis Cardiac Care’ (https://artemiscardiac.com/).Besides the above, Artemis also undertakes consultancy services for operations, management and/or providing select specialized medical services outside India. IFC is proposing an equity investment in Artemis for funding its growth plans (the “Project”). Under the organic expansion, Artemis plans to launch Tower 3 currently under construction at flagship hospital; open new secondary care centres in Delhi NCR; and expand operations of Artemis Cardiac Care centres across the country. Under the inorganic growth plans, Artemis plans to expand in North India.
