Artificial Ice Rinks - Capital Asset Management Program

The project will rehabilitate the Ramsden Park Outdoor Twin Pad Artificial Ice Rink in Toronto, Ontario. The work will involve upgrade and maintenance of the refrigeration and electrical systems, and rehabilitation of the ice pad and apron. This will reduce risk of downtime between usage, as well as reducing the risk of unexpected closures. The project will enable Ramsden Park to allow the continuity of access to recreation, to better accommodate people with disabilities through accessibility upgrades to comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA), and to reduce energy consumptions through conversion to LED lights.
