This regional Technical Cooperation (TC) will support Brazil (RFB), Uruguay (DGI), and Argentina (ARCA) in advancing the transformation of tax administration through the operational deployment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the development or consolidation of Cooperative Compliance (CC) programs. Together, AI and CC can play a transformational role in modern tax administration by enabling more precise compliance risk management, improving voluntary compliance, increasing transparency in decision-making, and fostering more cooperative relationships between tax administrations and taxpayers. These approaches allow administrations to shift from reactive enforcement toward more preventive, risk-based, and trust-based compliance management
