The project involves the development, construction and operation of 50MW Artistic Milliners Thatta District Onshore Wind Plant, located on 462-acre land in Sindh province’s Jhimpir wind corridor, Pakistan. The project is part of a program to build six wind power projects in Pakistan, named the Super Six. Artistic Milliners is developing the project. Mr Yaqoob Ahmed is a majority owner of Artistic Milliners. The project cost is $ 62.95 million with debt and equity contributions of $50.36 million and $12.59 million, respectively. IFC provided $ 25.18 million and Meezan Bank and Bank AL Habib provided $ 12.59 million each.
