Description | Aryan Toll Road Private Limited was created to implement the expansion to four lanes and strengthening of Pune - Solapur Road (N.H. - 9) from Km 14/000 to 40/000. The total length was 26 km. The project was awarded by Ministry of Road Transport & Highways on behalf of Government of India to IRB Infrastructure under an 16 year concession contract including 24 months of construction period. The concession contract was signed in February 2003 and the starting period (construction) was March 2003. The construction phase was completed in December 2004. The concession period ends in March 2019. The project cost was estimated to be INR630 Millions (US$13.5 million). The project reached financial closure in March 2003 with a loan from IDBI Bank Ltd (erstwhile United Western Bank Ltd). |
