Ashoka Highway Durg Limited is an SPV operating a 82.6km of National Highway 6 as a toll road in Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra states in India. The toll road runs from the end of the Durg bypass (322.4km) to the Chhattisgarh-Maharashtra Border (405Km). Ashoka Highway (Durg) Limited is sponsored by Ashoka Buildcon Limited (90%) and Infrastructure Development Finance Company (10%). The company was awarded the contract for the toll road in December of 2006 through a competitive bid process. Ashoka Highway (Durg) Limited signed a concession agreement with the National Highways Authority of India in January of 2008 for a 20yr BOT. Ashoka Highway (Durg) Limited reached Financial Closure in May 2015. Of the $98.9m USD cost, $35.62m USD was financed by equity, and $63.27m USD was debt financed. Equity was provided by Ashoka Buildcon Limited ($32.06m USD), and Infrastructure Development Finance Company ($3.56m USD). Debt financing was provided by Infrastructure Development Finance Company ($63.27m USD). Ashoka Highway Durg Limited finished construction in December of 2012 and began collecting tolls at that time.
