Description

Description

The City’s buildings, facilities and park sites include buried infrastructure that requires complete inventory updates, condition and performance assessment in order to develop a risk based inspection and rehabilitation/renewal plan. This project will update the inventory of pipes that and appurtenances that lie within the property boundaries of city-owned facilities, yards, garages, parks and buildings. The size, dimension and material of buried sewer and water mains within the property boundaries are poorly documented and this project will build inventory data and confidence in that data. This will help with future planning and coordination of interventions as supported by the City’s asset management program. The City has roughly 1,500 properties where investigation would be required.
