RREUSE is a European network representing social enterprises active in the circular economy, notably in the field of re-use, repair and recycling. Our mission is to serve and represent our social and circular enterprise community, helping driving their development through European policy, best-practice exchange, innovative partnerships and projects. Our vision is an inclusive circular economy based on re-use and repair in solidarity with both people and the environment. RREUSE’s main objectives for 2022-2025 include to: - Help create a strong enabling policy ecosystem for social enterprises to thrive as key drivers of a green, circular and just transition, and implementing the EPSR, notably through synergies between the Social Economy and Circular Economy Action Plans - Build members’ capacity to understand, influence and engage in the EU policy making process, giving them the necessary information to be able to contribute to policy implementation at local, regional and national level - Facilitate cross-border learning and partnerships among social enterprises active in the digital and green transition and open doors for cooperation with public and private actors - Expand the EU’s knowledge-base on social entrepreneurship and social inclusion through provision of policy-relevant data and research, notably on jobs and skills - To continue developing RREUSE’s communication outreach internally and externally and engage in campaigns reflecting both social inclusion and environmental protection - Enlarge RREUSE’s network with a particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe, to help connect, accelerate and scale social enterprise development In order to achieve the above, a wide variety of advocacy, capacity building, research and communications based activities will be implemented by RREUSE’s Brussels-based secretariat in cooperation with its dynamic social enterprise membership-base.
