Description | This project will consist of a pedestrian tunnel crossing under Atlanta Highway (SR 13). The tunnel will be constructed as a 10' high by 10' wide concrete box culvert. The estimated length of the tunnel will be 120 feet. This tunnel will be the terminus for a new section of multi-use trail, built concurrently with the tunnel, using separate funding, under project PI 0007639. It will also connect to Phase 2 of that multi-use trail which will be built under project PI 0009084. This tunnel will be an essential pedestrian crossing to the west side of Atlanta Highway, providing a useful link to the Georgia Department of Labor office. The project is located approximately 1250 linear feet south of the intersection of Tumbling Creek Road and Atlanta Highway (SR 13). |
