Description | The PPP contract involves the finance, design, construction, operation and maintenance of a Quick Turnaround Facility for the rental car companies at the Atlantic International Airport .The Authority leases approximately 2,200 acres on the airfield from the FAA’s William J. Hughes Technical Center and owns 84 acres where the terminal and other landside buildings are located. The Airport is served by four rental car companies; Hertz, Budget, Avis and Enterprise.The property will be leased under a ground lease management agreement for a minimum of fifteen years, with the potential to extend the term for two additional five year terms, at the Authority’s sole discretion. |
