The project has faced delays due to missed deadlines, ownership changes, and financial difficulties of the developer Greenland USA. Empire State Development Corporation (ESDC) has established a new timeline and is reviewing a new developer application, with a deadline to transfer development rights by August 2025 and a new community planning process scheduled for December 2025. |
