Description | The Atlas V and Atlas VI solar projects are utility-scale photovoltaic power plants with capacities of 237MWdc and 135MWdc respectively, located in La Paz County, Arizona. These projects are part of the larger Atlas Energy Park, a multi-phase solar and energy storage development aimed at enhancing grid reliability in the US Southwest and California. Qcells completed the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) work and will provide long-term asset management services. The projects use domestically manufactured solar modules and tracking systems, and are contracted under long-term power purchase agreements with Southern California Edison. |
