Description | This project covers the operational costs of the TMC and the Navigator system statewide. This includes the contract for Operations and Support at the TMC currently held by Atkins. It also includes all the utility costs (power and communications) for the Navigator cameras, message signs, ramp meters and detection systems statewide. Maintenance and repair costs associated with the TMC building are also included such as landscaping, janitorial services, elevator maintenance and HVAC. Staff salaries of those in Traffic Operations directly working on the Navigator project are covered by this project. Office supplies for the TMC are included. Purchase of traffic data from third parties on areas outside Atlanta are included. Purchase and installation of new devices for enhanced surveillance coverage or traffic detection may also be a part of this project. |
