Atom Solar Egypt 2 GW Solar Cell and Panel Complex

The Atom Solar Egypt complex is a large-scale, fully integrated industrial solar complex that will produce 2 GW of solar cells, 2 GW of solar panels, and 1 GWh of energy storage. It will cover more than 200,000 sqm in the Sokhna Industrial Zone, part of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone. The project aims to export solar cell output to global markets and supply solar panels to the Egyptian and regional markets, gradually increasing local component sourcing. It is expected to provide 841 direct jobs and will be implemented over three years including construction and trial operation.
