Attica Motorway concession PPP Project in Greece

The project involves the operation and maintenance of the existing 70 km long highway Attica Motorway in Greece.The highway includes the ring road of the greater metropolitan area of Athens. The scope of works involves financing, operation, maintenance, and exploitation of an urban motorway with 2 separate directional carriageways, each consisting of 3 lanes and an emergency lane. Attica motorway is part of the PATHE (Patra - Athens - Thessaloniki - Evzoni) road axis and connects the Athens – Lamia National Road with the Athens – Κorinthοs National Road, bypassing the center of Athens. The motorway has controlled access points and consists of 2 sections, which are perpendicular to one another: the Elefsina – Stavros – Spata A/P motorway, extending along approximately 52 km, and the Imittos Western Peripheral Motorway, extending along approximately 13 km. In addition, part of the Aegaleo Western Peripheral Motorway, extending along around 5 km, also forms part of the Attica Motorway.
