Information Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas has come up with AUGMENTATION OF FACILITIES AT THE EXISTING RAIPUR DEPOT with a ticket size of 456 INR Crores. This project in Refining sub-sector involves The current status of the project is - and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project Augmentation of facilities at the existing Raipur Depot Scope -Augmentation of facilities at Raipur depot in the state of Chhattisgarh in land admeasuring 53.019 acres adjacent to existing Raipur depot from Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran erstwhile Naya Raipur Development Authority. Objective - It is necessitated to build a new depot in the state of Chhattisgarh after the closure of the Bilaspur depot in order to make up for lost market share and to expand storage capacity of the existing Raipur Depot for providing 15 days of coverage for HSD and MS. A suitable piece of land near the current Raipur Depot was found suitable after searching numerous parcels of land throughout the whole state of Chhattisgarh for the construction of the proposed Depot. Salient features of the project- a.Land acquisition of 53.019 acres from NRANVP. Proposed facilities include: b. Tankages: MS 20,000 KL & HSD 24,000 KL. c. Full spur TWD siding with future provision of tank wagon loading siding. d. 16 bay TT gantry e.Pump house & allied facilities. f. Firefighting facilities to meet double fire contingency to meet OISD norms. g. CCTV, TAS & Instrumentation etc. ETP, MCC room, Sample room h New Depot admin office building Other allied facilities etc. Project Cost and Completion Date: The approved cost of project is Rs 456 crores with scheduled completion date of 31.03.2025
