Information Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas has come up with Augmentation of Salaya-Mathura Crude Oil Pipeline System to meet additional crude oil requirement for Koyali Refinery project, Gujarat with a ticket size of 1614 INR Crores. This project in Bulk Material Transportation Pipelines sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project Project envisages Capacity augmentation of Salaya Viramgam section [from 25 MMTPA to 35 MMTPA] and Viramgam-Koyali section [from 9 MMTPA to 16.2 MMTPA] of existing Salaya Mathura Crude Pipeline. The project involves construction of facilities in existing pumping stations at Vadinar, Jamnagar, Gauridad, Surendranagar and Bareja and Koyali station and Construction of 6 nos. of 60,000 KL crude oil storage tank at Vadinar.
