Austin Interactive Digital Kiosks Implementation

The City of Austin is implementing a network of interactive digital kiosks in public right-of-way areas to provide real-time public information, support local businesses, and enhance the pedestrian experience. The kiosks will feature transit routes, wayfinding tools, event listings, civic information, Wi-Fi access, and mobile handoff capabilities. They will be ADA compliant and designed for accessibility and safety. IKE Smart City, LLC was selected to manufacture, install, operate, and maintain the kiosks under a zero-cost model to the city, funded by advertising revenue shared with the city.
