Description | InterContinental Energy is developing two mega-scale renewable energy projects in Western Australia: the 26 GW Australian Renewable Energy Hub in the Pilbara and the 70 GW Western Green Energy Hub in the south-east of the state. These projects focus on wind and solar power combined with green hydrogen production for green iron and ammonia. The projects also plan to supply super-cheap power to data centres at less than $US50/MWh by integrating 2 GW nodes combining 1 GW wind and 1 GW solar, using hydrogen production for energy storage and balancing. |
