Description | A new plastics components and accessories plant dedicated to the automotive sector launched in Tissemsilt, Algeria. The facility aims to supply the domestic automotive market with locally manufactured plastic components, increasing local integration in vehicle production and assembly, reducing reliance on imported automotive parts, and fostering growth in supporting industries. The plant is operated by General Plastic Injection (GPI) and is located in Khemisti within the Sidi Mansour industrial zone. Production is scheduled to begin in September 2026. |
