This technical cooperation comprises three main objectives: (1) Identify innovative lessons drawn from European experience on implementing reform in management, governance, financing and service delivery in public hospitals. (2) Provide a forum for the exchange of experiences and practical advise on the process of change and facilitate the development of designs and corresponding implementation plans for launching a change involving one o more of the content themes of the seminar and (3) Promote partnerships between specific European hospitals with ample experience in public hospital reform and their counterparts in the Latin American and Caribbean countries that are to launch similar efforts.
