Avalon PC is applying to the Media Slate support with two feature films (IVÁN & HADOUM and BASARDA), one series (RAVAL) and one short film (A MIDSUMMER NIGHT TALE) with the goal of developing truly international projects from bold and upcoming filmmakers. Our development activities include the writing of treatments, scripts and series bible, preparation of sales deck, applications for public and private funding, confirmation of participation of TVs and other platforms, travel to markets to find international partners, creating marketing and distribution strategies, planning and casting research, search for locations, elaboration of shooting plans and budgets… Avalon PC will benefit from the fund as well as all the artistic and technical teams behind each project: directors, scriptwriters, producers, co-producers and other team members including casting directors, cinematographers, location managers, line producers, 1st assistant directors, production designers, etc. We plan to close the financing of the four projects and start principal photography in 2024 for A MIDSUMMER NIGHT TALE and IVÁN & HADOUM, and in 2025 for BASARDA and RAVAL. During the 34 months of development we will meet the deliverable outputs including scripts, dossiers, series bible, proof of market visits, contracts, updated financial plans and budgets, proofs of funding applications, co-production and sales deal memos, etc.
