Description | The Ave 68 line will be 17 km long and will cross through the neighborhoods of Kennedy, Puente Aranda, Tunjuelito, Engativá, Fontibón, Barrios Unidos, Teusaquillo, Suba, Usaquén and Chapinero. The line will feature 21 stations different from all the ones in the system today: they will be made of tempered glass, taller, wider and with overhangs to protect users from the rain. Along the entire corridor, 15 pedestrian bridges, seven vehicular bridges, four overpass vehicle crossings and three underground pedestrian crossings will be built. There will be 13.7 new kilometers of bike paths built and 4.3 km of existing bike paths will be repaired, making it a total of 18 km of bike paths. |
