Description | The Avinashi Road Elevated Expressway project in Coimbatore is a 10.1-km-long four-lane elevated corridor stretching from Uppilipalayam Flyover to Goldwins Junction. It is the longest elevated corridor in Tamil Nadu and the second longest in India, bypassing over 12 traffic intersections along Avinashi Road, a key arterial route in Coimbatore. PASCHAL Form Work India supplied modular universal formwork systems for the construction of cast-in-situ crash barriers along the corridor, covering around 52,800 sq m of concrete area. The formwork system included two sets of 60-metre-long modular crash barrier systems integrated with movable heavy-duty towers enabling concrete pouring through boom placers, which helped accelerate execution, improve engineering efficiency, and maintain construction quality. |
