Awasis Solar (the “Project”) is a 10MW solar plant being developed by Cowessess First Nation (“Cowessess”, “CFN”) and Elemental Energy Inc. (“Elemental”) (collectively, the “Partners”) on Cowessess First Nation reserve land (the “Site”). The Project will be interconnected directly to the SaskPower grid, connecting to a 25kV distribution line that runs along the east border of the parcel. The current Project design consists of 33,325 420W bifacial solar panels, mounted on single-axis trackers, with three 4MVA SMA inverters and a 10MW alternating current (AC).
