Description | Axium Packaging Inc. is planning to construct a rigid plastic container manufacturing plant on a 7.5-acre site in Bethlehem. The project scope includes construction of a 136,000-sq-ft building; laying of track and rail for a rail spur; purchase and installation of resin storage silos, blow molding and injection molding machines, and packaging and loading dock equipment for eight loading docks. Hanover Engineering Associates, Inc. will provide civil engineering services and SAGE Design Build Inc. has been selected to provide design-build services. Construction is expected to begin in the late third or fourth quarter of 2022. Axium will use the plant to produce water bottles and other rigid plastic containers. |
