Description	This project involves the expansion of the fiber network coverage of the Mexican telecommunications company Axtel in Mexico. The expansion works will allow Axtel to deploy its fiber optic network to telecommunications towers and data centers across the country. Moreover, this initiative will promote the development of digital infrastructure in Mexico. The total project cost is $60m and it is provided by the IFC with a 7-year corporate loan for up to $60m, consisting of a $40m A loan and a $20m mobilization component, part of the Managed Co-Lending Portfolio Program (MCPP), IFC's syndications platform for institutional investors.
