Ayodhya Mosque Project
Sector: Education • Location: Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India
Source: Deccan Herald
A mosque project conceived as part of India's Supreme Court settlement of the decades-old Ayodhya dispute is being scaled down due to lack of community interest and funding. Originally planned to include a mosque, a 300-bed multi-speciality hospital, and a library on a five-acre plot, the project now aims to build a much smaller mosque due to donation shortfalls.
