Description | The project involves the design, finance, construction, operation, maintenance, and transfer of phases 2 & 3 of the Integrated Water and Power Plant (IWPP) at the Az-Zour North site in Kuwait.The site is located at the west boundary of Az-Zour North 1 IWPP and to the North boundary of the existing Az-Zour South power complex, approximately 100 km south of Kuwait City on the Arabian Gulf coast. The project is expected to provide 2,700 MW of power generation capacity and 165 MIGD desalinated water production capacity. The plant will use gas turbine combined cycle technology. |
