The project has entered a key phase with the signing of a feasibility study contract with China's Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co., Ltd. The plant will have an annual production capacity of 2 million tons and is expected to be commissioned in mid-2029. The total investment is estimated at around $700 million, and the plant is expected to contribute significantly to Azerbaijan's GDP and create approximately 1,600 jobs. |
