The project will supply power to the Brazilian state of Roraima, which is the only state that is not interconnected to the national grid. The project will sell power rated at R798.17/MWh. Under its PPA, the power plant needs to commence operations before June 2021. Jaguatirica II will be constructed under the SPV Azulão Geração de Energia. Project sponsor is Eneva. Total project cost is BRL 1,560.00m (USD 278.89m). Financing comprises BRL560 (USD 100.11m) million in debentures and BRL1 billion (USD 178.77m) 16-years term loan.
