B-21 Raider Stealth Bomber Development

under testing

The B-21 Raider is a next-generation stealth bomber project by the United States, featuring advanced stealth capabilities including a complete thermal masking system to evade infrared detection. It integrates AI and health monitoring systems for technical anomaly detection. Test flights have been conducted at Edwards Air Force Base, California, with plans for live test series including weapon bay opening and dummy bomb tests in July 2025. Initial operational deployment is expected by 2027, with full operational capability by 2029. The bomber can carry up to 13 tonnes of payload including nuclear and conventional weapons and has a range of approximately 12,000 kilometers.
