The first project is a 100 MW/400 MWh battery installation in Kullurică, southern Albania, with Phase 1 (50 MW/200 MWh) expected to begin commercial operation in Q3 2026 and Phase 2 (50 MW/200 MWh) scheduled for Q1 2027, pending final Albanian legislative approval. The system will use Energy Vault’s B-VAULT energy storage system and VaultOS energy management software to provide grid flexibility services. |
