Backflow controls of Monty sector - Laval

The Project consists of replacing and installing 7,227 metres of drinking water, wastewater and storm water pipes, installing 1 hydrodynamic separator and 1 dynamic control system in the Monty sector located in the City of Laval, Quebec. The scope of the Project includes approximately: • replacing 1,895 metres of aging drinking water pipes, 3,140 metres of wastewater pipes and replacing and installing 2,192 storm water pipes for sewer separation to increase the hydraulic capacity of the residential area (Monty-Cyrano sector) and to reduce overflows of wastewater in the Rivière des Prairies; • installing 1 hydrodynamic separator to treat storm water sewer lines and installing 1 dynamic control system (‘’Chambre de régulation sanitaire’’) to modulate wastewater flow at pumping station.
