Baggao Water Supply Project comprises the development of a water supply system for 24 of the barangays of Baggao, Cagayan Province, the Philippines. A joint venture agreement has been signed on November 27th, 2023 between the Municipality of Baggao and the awarded after competitive bidding sponsor M.E. Sicat Construction, Inc. The contract includes the design, finance, construction, operation, and maintenance of a Level III water supply service for 24 of the town’s barangays for a term of 25 years, slated to be implemented starting 2024 with 1.5 years period for construction. A Level III water system refers to a water supply facility with a source, a reservoir, a piped distribution network with a treatment facility and individual household supply connections. The project is planned to serve a population of around 87,753 people, as of the 2020 government census. The investment is $3.68m, an equivalent to PhP210 million.
