Baguio City Integrated Terminal (BCIT) Project

The project involves the development of a PHP1.19-billion (US$20.8 million) Integrated Intermodal Terminal in Baguio City under a public–private partnership (PPP) framework. Proposed by Megawide, the facility will be located on a 5-hectare site along Palispis Highway and is designed to serve as the main gateway for provincial buses entering the city. The terminal will feature multiple bus bays, passenger lounges, commercial spaces, park-and-ride facilities, and landscaped green areas. Traffic management measures—including signalized intersections and right-turn slip lanes—are also part of the plan to ensure smoother vehicle movement. The project aims to decongest Baguio’s central business district, enhance accessibility for commuters, and improve the overall efficiency of the city’s transport system. It will be implemented through a Swiss challenge process before contract awarding.
