Description | Exxon Mobil Corporation has entered into an agreement with Enterprise Products Partners to acquire a 40% joint interest in the Bahia natural gas liquids (NGLs) pipeline. The pipeline, currently in the commissioning phase, is expected to begin commercial services shortly after. It spans 550 miles and transports NGLs from the Midland and Delaware basins to EPD’s Mont Belvieu fractionation facility in Texas, with an initial capacity of 600,000 barrels per day. ExxonMobil will contribute $650 million as its share of construction costs. The transaction is expected to conclude by early 2026. An expansion to increase capacity to 1 million barrels per day is planned, including a 92-mile extension to ExxonMobil’s Cowboy natural gas processing plant in Eddy County, NM, expected to complete in Q4 2027. |
