Description | A proposed pipeline project approximately 350 miles long from western North Dakota to the eastern part of the state, including additional pipeline laterals. The project was selected by the North Dakota Industrial Commission for firm pipeline capacity commitments of up to $50 million annually for 10 years. It aims to provide natural gas transportation service for industrial power generation and local distribution companies, as well as additional takeaway capacity for forecasted natural gas production growth in the Bakken region. The project is not currently in the five-year capital forecast and will be incremental if pursued. Financing options include balance sheet financing, partners, and others. A binding open season is planned for the first quarter of 2026. |
