Description | The Bakken East Pipeline is a proposed 375-mile-long natural gas pipeline that will transport millions of cubic feet of natural gas per day from the western part of North Dakota to its central and eastern areas. The pipeline will consist of 30- and 24-inch diameter high-pressure steel pipes with a capacity to move up to 760 million cubic feet of natural gas per day from the Bakken oil field. The project is planned to be built in two phases, with phase one operating by November 2029 and phase two by November 2030, including an extension from Jamestown to Ellendale. |
