IFC's PPP Transaction Advisory Services Unit will assist the Ministry of Economy in implementing a PPP transaction for the development of a greenfield desalination plant. The PPP contract will include the design, financing, construction and operations of a desalination plant with a proposed 274 MLD capacity. IFC will engage post bid submission to provide strategic advisory services (i.e. advisor of advisors) to the Government: the scope of work includes providing support to (i) revise and finalize the transaction documentation, (ii) the evaluation of bids and conclusion of a competitive and transparent tender process, until the (iii) selection of a specialized partner and (iv) signature of the contracts for the development of the project.
