The project involves modernisation of the DW 960 and road III/3078 with a total length of 4.76 km. The aim of the project is to increase road safety, the comfort of all road users, including improving the accessibility of the area for public transport and at the same time taking care of the environment. On the side of PW DW 960, it will be renovated on the section of PW DW 960. 3.26 km connecting Bukowina Tatra with the border crossing in Łysa Polana. The ZDW, acting on behalf of the Małopolskie Voivodeship, has accepted a notification for construction works dated 21.4. 2022. The scope of the works will cover the renovation of the existing road surface within the existing road lane, including the replacement of bitumen surfaces with the implementation of local reinforcements. In addition, the renovation of the roadside surface (use of destruction), bus bays and existing public and private exits will be carried out. Maintenance and renovation will be carried out by existing ditches it’s roadside. After completion of the construction works, traffic safety devices and roadway markings will be installed. On the PSK side, the road III/3078 with a length of 1.5 km will be modernised, the poor condition of the surface threatens the safety of travellers. The scope of works will include, among others: refurbishment of road surfaces, extension of the roadside along with the detachment of road ditches and reconstruction of road culverts, the sensors on the road near the meteorological station on the Podspády section will be modernised. After completion of the construction works, traffic safety devices will be installed and pedestrian crossing lighting and road marking will be carried out.
