Description | The Jantar Unity is a roll-on/roll-off vehicle and passenger ferry operating between Świnoujście, Poland, and Trelleborg, Sweden. It is one of the Baltic Sea's most modern vessels, powered by four dual-fuel engines running on LNG and marine diesel, featuring a hybrid propulsion system that reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The ferry is protected by 280,000 liters of marine coatings from AkzoNobel's International brand. The project includes the delivery of two more ferries, with a second ferry slated for delivery in the third quarter of 2026 and steel-cutting for a third vessel expected later in the year. |
