The project aims to diversify Poland's power generation sources and reduce dependence on fossil fuels, contributing to energy resilience. The wind farm will be the first offshore wind farm to supply electricity to Poland and is expected to cover up to 3 percent of Poland's electricity demand by 2026. The project includes the installation of 74 turbines, offshore substations, inter-array and export cables, and an operations and maintenance base in Leba. |
