Description	In February 2013, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Government approved the construction of the Baluntai-Yiergen Railway in Hejing County, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The total length was 93.5 km and the total investment was RMB 4.5 billion. Construction commenced in October 2013 and substantial progress was achieved by April 2014. The investor was called Xinjiang Jinyangguang Railway Construction and Management Company Limited, which was a private company. The railway was mainly to serve the iron mines and iron and steel enterprises in Hejing County.
