BANQUE DE DEVELOPPEMENT DES ETATS DE L'AFRIQUE CENTRALE (BDEAC) ASSISTANCE TECHNIQUE FAPA

The proposed project is a grant from the African Private Sector Technical Assistance Fund to the Development Bank of Central African States (BDEAC) in an amount not exceeding US$1 million. The Grant will be used to finance certain expenses necessary to strengthen BDEAC's institutional capacity to enable it to fulfil its development mission in the sub-region and implement its 2008-2012 strategic plan, which includes the following components: (i) support for human resources management; (ii) updating and reviewing the strategic plan and business plan; (iii) support for operations; (iv) support for financial management; (v) strengthening the legal department; (vi) strengthening governance; (vii) coordinating project activities.
