Description | The Barangaroo Central project is a major redevelopment of a prime Sydney Harbour site, located between Barangaroo Metro station and Crown Sydney. The project includes plans for apartments, retail, restaurants, bars, a hotel, and new public spaces. The NSW Government approved modifications to the concept plans in early 2025, but the next stage of construction has been delayed due to the State Significant Development application not yet being lodged. The developer, Shanghai-based Aqualand, is working to satisfy planning conditions with the first stage expected to be completed around 2030. |
