Barber Lake AI Data Center Expansion with Fluidstack and Google

Cipher Mining is expanding its 10-year AI hosting partnership with Fluidstack, delivering an additional 39 MW of critical IT load supported by up to 56 MW of new gross capacity at its Barber Lake data-center site in Colorado City, Texas. Fluidstack will lease the entire 300 MW at Barber Lake, fully committing the site to AI/HPC workloads. The expansion represents approximately $830 million in additional contracted revenue over the initial 10-year term, with total contracted revenue estimated around $3.8 billion over 10 years. Google has expanded its backstop of Fluidstack's lease obligations by $333 million, raising the total backstop to $1.73 billion to support project-finance debt for the site.
