The project aims at enhancing co-operation in arts and culture, especially concerning visual arts and art history. The objective is to build up a network for implementing multilateral activities such as exhibitions, workshops and symposiums. The network’s task will be to increase awareness about rich and diverse arts and cultural heritage of the North. In the background there is the fact that during the last years the number of multilateral cultural projects across our region (North Calotte and Northwest Russia) has strongly declined. There is though a strong interest for cooperation.
