The project will generate 95-100 megawatts of power and supply an estimated 260 GWh of renewable electricity annually to the national grid. It is expected to begin commercial operations in the second quarter of 2031 and will reduce around 302,000 tons of waste annually, contributing to environmental protection and sustainability goals under Oman Vision 2040. |
