Barron's Branch District Redevelopment

planned

The first phase of the downtown redevelopment project called Barron's Branch District involves redeveloping the area of the former Indian Spring Middle School's athletic fields. The project includes creating a centerpiece water feature, extending Third Street, and adding new buildings. Additional infrastructure elements such as a parking garage, reclaimed water system, and a new culvert may be added, contingent on sufficient private development. The project aims to reduce the flood plain footprint through additional drainage infrastructure.
